Option For Hero Skill Designation
This proposal is for PVE only
The ability to pre-set certain skills used by Heroes on Hero skill bars
1. Default would be random, as it is now
2. Option to designate skill to be used on self (Hero)
3. Option to designate skill to be used on a particular team member
Example: Rit Weapon Spells – set to cast on self, (Hero), or designated team member only.
This would be done with the addition of a small ‘target’ under each skill on the hero skill bar allowing the 3 above options. Each skill can be designated individually or left as ‘random’.
This can be set up in town/outpost and also changed whilst in explorable area’s.
We all know that Heroes have their limitation regarding skill usage, as an Ele’s ‘splinter staff’ is possibly not the best option over a ‘Barrage Ranger’
I know we can manage the Hero skill bars but this is not always practical and can be time consuming and detract from what you need to be doing with your own character.
This feature would, in my opinion, make many more skills available to be ‘reliably’ used on Heroes skill bars vastly expanding Hero/team build options.
Your thoughts on this would be much appreciated.

Too much programming for Anet to do. What makes you think they can accomplish that when it took them 2+ years to give us simple pet commands? :O

If they were going to do anything like this, I'd rather see FFXII's gambit system.

Heroes do a great job.
For everything else, there's those fleshy meatbags.

Just allow Heroes to fix target on allied ccreatures should do.
Currently you only fix then on enemies.
How good it to fix a monk over an enemy, instead on fixing its target to the party tank?

That'd be pretty awesome.
But yeah, heroes aren't meant to be perfect and everything. They want to leave some flaws so that we'd actually party with real people
